How to count all the rows in MySQL table using PHP
This is my code: $sql = "SELECT topic_id, title FROM TABLE WHERE tag1 in ('$tag1') OR tag2 in ('$tag1') $andor tag2 in ('$tag2') OR tag1 in ('$tag2') ORDER BY rating desc LIMIT 5 OFFSET 0"; $result = $conn->query($sql); I want to count the number of entries in "title" columns and echo it. The code is something like SELECT COUNT(*) But, I am a newbie. So Please add that code in my code, and reply.
