How to delete duplicate records with Blob column in Oracle
When I want to detect the duplicate records (with 3 columns A1, A2 and A3) in an oracle table, I could use below query: Select A1, A2, A3,count(1) from T group by A1, A2, A3 having count(1) > 1; But if A3 is Blob type, this query would return error message “ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got BLOB” because blob column could not be in group by statement. Then how could we query the duplicate records with a Blob column? Thanks a lot.
